The Structural Engineering Technician II will work in the field assisting with residential and commercial projects. Preferred candidates will possess a degree or certificate in Architectural Technology or Civil Engineering Technology. Upcoming graduates will be also be considered. The focus will be on evaluating structural systems and reporting, with secondary structural design and analysis. CAD and/or construction experience is a plus. Pay is commensurate with experience.
Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, solid math skills and reliability.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, proof of insurance and acceptable driving record required.
Provide detailed daily reports of observations.
Observe work and verify compliance with plans and specifications.
Interact and communicate effectively with clients and client representatives.
Verify all necessary documents are in place prior to site visits and collect payment on site as required.
